When you commission a sculpture you will own a unique piece of art tailored to your specific wishes.
I pride myself on a highly professional service, from initial consultation through regular updates to timely delivery of a quality work of art.
Although my current body of work is predominantly figurative and accurately portrayed, I am open to discussing any idea you may have for a sculpture.
A clay sculpture can be fired or alternatively moulded and cast into a variety of materials including bronze, bronze resin, stone resin, wax or plaster. The cost would vary according to complexity of work and finishing material.
In the first instance, please contact me to discuss your ideas. I can advise on all aspects of the production process from concept, size and timescale to finishing, delivery and installation.
Once all the details are worked out between us, I will then provide you with a comprehensive quote.
Throughout the production process you will be involved and consulted to ensure the best possible service for you personally.
When sculpting a likeness, it is always beneficial to start with a face-to-face sitting. I then take away detailed information from which to create a clay likeness. Obviously, a sitting is not always a possibility. In this case the approach is to work with the commissioner to obtain the highest quality reference information possible to create an accurate and characterful likeness.
There will always be communication and consultation throughout the process to ensure commissioner satisfaction.
“After a long search for the right artist, I was lucky to find Jeni and cannot recommend her work highly enough. My wife and I are absolutely delighted with the result. Jeni was very professional during the process and kept to schedule and budget throughout - I have been very impressed and have no reservations in recommending her.” - Mr H. Kidston (Bears Commission)
"Dear Jeni, Thank you for a fantastic sculpture of my dear late husband Peter Edwards…the likeness is truly amazing and a great testament to your skill and craftsmanship. With gratitude and best wishes for the future,” - Mrs S.G.M Edwards. (Peter Edwards bronze bust -Peter Edwards Museum, Essex)
